Dill
Anethum graveolens
Dill grows well in full sun and well drained soil. It can grow to an average height of 24" (depending on the variety). It has fine textured leaf and is great for pickling and cooking.

Refridgerator Dill Pickles

Ingredients:
10 small pickling cucumbers
4 sprigs fresh dill
1 clove garlic (smashed)
8 black peppercorns
1 pinch crushed red pepper
3/4 cup water
1 &1/2 tbsps white vinegar
2 &1/4 tsps salt
Directions:
Place 2 of the sprigs of dill, the smashed garlic, peppercorns, and crushed red pepper in the bottom of a pint sized mason jar. Place as many cucumbers as will fit in the jar (make sure the lid will be able to close).
Mix together the water, vinegar, and salt until the salt dissolves. Pour over the cucumbers and top with the last 2 sprigs of dill. Close the jar and refrigerate for 3 days. (pickles will kepp for about a month)
