Oregano, Greek - Origanum subsp. hirtum (O. heracleoticum)

Dark green leaves and white flowers on a 12-18" tall plant. Strong oregano flavor is excellent in italian cooking. Keep flowers cut off for best leaf production.

USES: For poultry, meats, salad dressings, pizza, pasta sauces and Italian cooking. Attracts butterflies.
CARE: Plant in well drained, average soil in full sun.
HARDINESS: Perennial. Zones 5-11.
